Is The Bold and the Beautiful's Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) leaving the CBS soap to star in a new TV series called Paper Empire? The actress opens up about her future in daytime.

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful's Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) have been worried about the actress' status with the soap since news broke that she's filming what seems to be a lead role in the upcoming TV drama Paper Empire -- but are the worries justified?

Richards shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from her gig on the series, where she stars as Bentley Fintch, the wife of a man (Robert Davi) who decides to create the illusion that his billions were lost in a "Ponzi Scheme," when in reality, the money is hidden in a Digital Limbo technology he created.

In the comments section of her Instagram post, one of the actress' followers asked her why she left B&B to star in Paper Empire, to which she quickly responded, "I didn't [leave]! I'm still on the show." What's more, Richards teases that the writers at B&B have recently given her lots of juicy material that will be airing in the weeks ahead. "Lots of fun stuff coming up for Shauna," she reveals.

Fans of the CBS soap opera have been waiting for the possibility of Shauna and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) battling over Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) -- and it's a catfight that could come at any moment, depending on how the cards fall. Fans will have to keep tuning in to see whether or not Shauna will eventually cause a Bridge collapse...

As for Paper Empire, there's currently no information as to when and where it will air. However, daytime fans will definitely want to keep checking back to Soap Central for updates, as the drama series is set to feature additional soap opera talent opposite Richards. Others who have signed on to the project include Michael Nouri (ex-Caleb Cortlandt, All My Children; ex-Elliot Hampton, The Young and the Restless), Timothy Gibbs (ex-Kevin Buchanan, One Life to Live; ex-Gary Sinclair, Another World; ex-Dash Nichols, Santa Barbara), and Helena Mattsson (the real-life sister of Sofia Mattsson [Sasha Gilmore, General Hospital]).

Are you relieved to hear that Denise Richards isn't leaving B&B? What kind of "fun stuff" do you think is in Shauna's future? What are your thoughts on the premise of Paper Empire?
